BRUG meeting
Yesterday I and a colleague of mine finally made it to a meeting of BRUG – the Belgian Ruby Users Group . After the nightmare of driving on the ring road around Brussels during the evening peak hour we reached Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, a quiet Flemish municipality in the dangerous vicinity of Brussels, where XAOP was hosting the meeting.
There were three talks:
- Marc Lainez from Belighted on Typus
- Elise Huard on Tokyo Cabinet
- Alain Ravet with an amusing talk about managing your ideas
But what I enjoyed most is seeing and talking with so many people doing Rails development professionally, whether as freelancers or in a small business.
